Kate Findlay

Textile artist, teacher, and general creative person with an interest in techie stuff too. I have become know particularly for my Large Hadron Collider series first shown in 2012, but since then ahve gone on to develop textile wall pieces which include fibre optics. I also have a second interest in creating fabric collage pictures of local Henley scenes and birds and wildlife.

I currently offer three talks - one Collider based, one called Working in Series, which covers all my different styles, and the other on my Bird/animal series. I can do workshops too with either starting point - and also e-textiles, if you want to really get things sparkling! Recently groups have made wonderful light up Christmas candles with flickering LEDs!
